Opinion
Write for Opinion
Send us an article of your own. It is not published when you send it: the editor reads it first. If it runs, it appears in Opinion signed with the name you choose.
How it works
- 1
You write it and send it. You need an account, so we know whose it is.
- 2
The editor reads it. Until then nobody else sees it, and you can take it back.
- 3
This page tells you. If it runs, it is published with a cover we draw for it.
What we ask of an article
- One argument, stated in the title, in 450 to 1,500 words.
- Facts with their sources: at least two links to where your figures, dates and quotations come from.
- Opinion, not advice. Argue that a company or a central bank got it right or wrong; do not tell readers to buy, sell or hold anything, and give no price targets.
- Your own work, in your own words. Link to what others wrote; do not paste it.
